Karelia is called as the "lungs of Europe". More than 50% of its territory is covered by forests and 30% by lakes and rivers. In Karelia there are two of Europe's largest lakes: Ladoga and Onega. It is no coincidence; even the residence of the President of Russia is only 15 kilometers from the clinic "Kivach”.
